Kunzler, a pork processing company based in Lancaster with plants in Blair County, has been bought by another Pennsylvania-based pork processor. Clemens Food group, located in Hatfield, has acquired the Kunzler Company, noting the acquisition will add three existing Kunzler plants to the Clemens Food Group family, two in Tyrone and one in Lancaster. With this acquisition, the name and local facilities will remain the same. Clemens is currently the fifth-largest pork processor in the U.S.
