In Somerset County, charges have been filed against three individuals accused of leading police this week in a high-speed chase. State police clocked the suspect vehicle Monday going 106-miles-per-hour on the Pennsylvania Turnpike and tried to pull the vehicle over. They say the driver of that vehicle failed to pull over and instead accelerated to a speed of over 120-miles-per-hour. The vehicle was eventually stopped and its occupants arrested on various charges. Police also recovered a 9mm handgun that they say was thrown from the suspects’ vehicle during the chase.
