Paul Skenes, the Pirates top pitching prospect is to make his major league debut this Saturday when they host the Cubs. The team announced yesterday that Skenes is expected to start Saturday’s game. Skenes was drafted by Pittsburgh last summer and was promoted to the team’s Double-A affiliate, the Altoona Curve. Game time is 3:40 and can be heard on 96.1 HANK-FM and WCRO KOOL 102.9.
