Fine For Killing Bald Eagles Increases

The fine for killing a bald eagle in Pennsylvania just became more expensive.  Governor Shapiro signed Senate Bill 709 into law, which raises the state fine for killing a bald eagle from 200-dollars to two-thousand-dollars.  There are also federal protections in place for killing bald eagles, which includes up to a year in prison and a 100-thousand-dollar fine.
