An Altoona man has been charged with breaking into the apartment of his “ex” and beating her. 41 year old Troy McKee was arraigned on Sunday on felony charges of burglary and aggravated assault after he allegedly threatened a woman, and beat and kicked her during an altercation on Sunday morning. Another women was also inside the apartment when Mckee broke in, and both women were able to get out of the residence. At that point, McKee stayed inside the apartment destroying his ex’s belongings. Unable to post bail, McKee is currently in the Blair County Prison.
