In a post on Facebook the Humane Society of Cambria County has announced that for the time being they are unable to accept animals surrendered by their owners because of the large number of animals they are currently caring for. The Humane Society also noted they are turning away visitors that don’t have an approved application. Reportedly, the shelter plans to use this time to clean, sanitize and take care of the many animals already in their care. In the meantime, you can submit an application for a pet online, before visiting, volunteer, donate supplies and support fundraisers.
