A human skull that was found last month near the Little Conemaugh River in Conemaugh Township has been identified. Yesterday during a press conference, Cambria County Coroner Jeff Lees identified the victim as 40 year old Michael Theys Jr., of Mineral Point. Theys was identified by forensic dental records. Theys had been reported missing since January of 2023 and authorities say his death is “highly suspicious.” An investigation is underway.
