There are some administrative changes coming to Penn State’s campuses in Scranton, Hazleton, and Wilkes-Barre. The university yesterday said it is moving to a single administrator for each region of campuses. In northeast Pennsylvania that means Chancellor Elizabeth Wright will take over all three campuses. Wilkes-Barre Chancellor Lynda Goldstein will stay on the job through the end of her contract next year. Penn State says the changes are needed in order to trim the Commonwealth Campuses’ 49 million-dollar deficit.
