The Claysburg Kimmel School board voted to approve its 2024/25 final budget last night, and it includes a tax hike. Reportedly the final budget includes a property tax increase to the full Act 1 Index limit of 7.7%, which translates to an average hike of $80 dollars a year. The hike is expected to generate slightly more than 321 thousand dollars in extra revenue.
