A motorcyclist has died as a result of a crash that occurred yesterday afternoon in Blair County. The accident occurred along south Logan Boulevard and Brushmeade Lane in Frankstown Township. Authorities have identified the deceased as 57 year old Brian L. Colobove of Altoona. Police say Colobove was traveling north when he lost control of his motorcycle which caused it to tip over. He then fell from the bike and struck a metal signpost. He was pronounced dead at the scene. An investigation is underway.
