A 34 year old Clearfield County man has been charged with selling moonshine out of his father’s tire and repair shop. Steven Scaife ll, of Houtzdale, reportedly sold moonshine to members of the Pennsylvania State Police on numerous occasions. Scaife is charged with misdemeanor counts of unlawful sales of liquor and failing to distill alcohol without getting a license. Scaife is scheduled for a preliminary hearing next month.
