A Duncansville woman has been charged after stealing over $7,000 from Altoona First Savings Bank on North Logan Boulevard, while working as an employee. 47 year old Melissa Standridge was arraigned on Monday, on felony charges of theft by failure to make required disposition, and receiving stolen property. During an interview with Altoona Police, Standridge reportedly told them she was behind in paying bills, and had planned to replace the money. Standridge was released on $15,000 unsecured bail. Her preliminary hearing is scheduled for July 24th.
