The Pennsylvania State Capitol building was evacuated Saturday after a bomb threat. State lawmakers received an email titled “My Manifesto,” from an individual claiming that in the name of Palestine they were armed with a knife and had planted explosives in the complex. The email stated the individual planned on triggering one explosive device every few hours until Joe Biden went on national television and publically denounced the illegitimate state of Israel. A House Democratic Caucus spokesperson confirmed everyone in the building was told to evacuate immediately. Capitol police conducted a search but no explosives were found. An investigation into who sent the email is still ongoing. House sessions are to convene at noon today.
