A Somerset woman has been arrested for refusing to call 911 after leaving two children alone that had ingested CBD/THC gummies. 27-year-old Jade Boyer of Somerset Pike is facing two felony charges of endangering the welfare of children. Authorities were called to the home last week, for a welfare check, and found the 7-and 5-year-old children asleep. Once the two woke up, they reportedly appeared to have blood shot eyes and were having trouble breathing. The children were taken to Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center where medical reports showed the children suffered from a THC overdose. Boyer is currently in the Somerset County Prison in lieu of bail. Her preliminary hearing is slated for August 7th.
