Apollo Area Historical Society is hosting a Civil War Day on Saturday, August 10th from 10am until 4pm at Drake Log Cabin, 215 Williams Aly in Apollo.  There will be Civil War Re-enactors, authentic Civil War relics, Civil War Speakers, Civil War Encampment, Living History Camp, Firing demonstrations and a Flag Raising Ceremony.  Cost is $5 per person with children 12 and under free.  Parking will be free in the Apollo Plaza.  Hot Dogs and beverages will also be available for sale on site.  Sponsored by the Apollo Area Historical Society.  For more information, call 724-478-2899 or go to apollopahistory.com.
