Former President Trump claims Vice President Kamala Harris did not pick Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro as her running mate because he’s Jewish. During an interview with Fox News, Trump said he had very little doubt that Shapiro wasn’t chosen “because of the fact that he’s Jewish.” The former president then went on to say the Harris campaign thought picking Shapiro would offend others. The Harris campaign has denied Trump’s allegations, and Shapiro has said that he expressed reservations to the campaign about leaving his job as governor.
