Pennsylvania Courts Urge Safe Driving During School Year

With the school year approaching, Pennsylvania courts are reminding drivers to watch out for buses and school zones.  When the stop arm of a school bus is out and the red lights are flashing, motorists are required to stop at least ten feet away.  The courts say speeding in school zones is also an ongoing problem, with more than 16-thousand citations issued in Pennsylvania since 2019.  The most citations are issued in September and October.
