APD Investigating Thefts of Catalytic Converters

Altoona Police are investigating a series of catalytic converter thefts that have occurred this summer.  Police say a number of thefts occurred in the early morning hours of July 20^th and again on August 20^th.   Authorities say the converters were cut from multiple Mitsubishi Outlanders within the city.  Police also noted they were able to determine the suspects were driving a newer model gold Acura TLX.  Anyone with information is asked to contact that Altoona Police Department.
