An Altoona man who had been on the Altoona Police Department’s ten most wanted list, was arrested on Sunday. He’s been identified as 41-year-old Michael Cassarly. Police say they discovered a car known to be used by Cassarly, and that led them to a home on the 600 block of Bell Avenue. Police gained access to the home and found Cassarly in an attic crawlspace. Cassarly had been placed on the ten most wanted list for allegedly accepting to do work on a motorcycle and then trying to steal it. Altoona Police said that Cassarly also had two warrants through the Blair County Sheriff’s Office. Cassarly has been placed in the Blair County Prison in lieu of $50,000 bail.
