An alleged beating has reportedly left a woman intubated at UPMC Altoona and a 24-year-old man has been arrested. Charged last week was Eliot Creek who faces counts of aggravated assault with extreme indifference, and public drunkenness. Police say the incident happened in the area of East Hudson Street when a man and a woman starting fighting in the street. When police arrived they found the victim covered in blood. When authorities spoke with Creek he alleged he was the one who was assaulted and when he tried to call 911 he claimed the victim kept kicking the phone from him. The woman was reportedly taken to UPMC with serious injuries and ultimately had to be intubated. Creek has been placed in the Blair County Prison with bail set at $100,000.
