Vice President Kamala Harris made a campaign stop in Pennsylvania on Friday. Harris attended the event in Wilkes-Barre, where she told the crowd her campaign is fighting for freedom. She spoke on abortion rights, saying Trump purposefully selected Supreme Court justices to overthrow Roe v. Wade. Harris said denying access to the medical procedure was immoral, and that the government shouldn’t be allowed to tell women what to do with their bodies. She was briefly interrupted by pro-Palestinian protesters, who she acknowledged and said she is fighting for a ceasefire and hostage agreement. Prior to her stop in Wilkes-Barre, Harris made a campaign stop in Johnstown where she held an invitation only event at the Johnstown Airport. Those who were invited were local union members. Harris said she will always put the country above party, and be a president for all Americans. Pennsylvania is a major swing state that could be a deciding vote in this year’s election.
