PSU to Pay $700K to Resolve Discrimination Complaints

Penn State University will be paying more than $700,000 to resolve accusations of gender discrimination.  The agreement with the Department of Labor includes 65 female employees, back wages.  A compliance review found that since July of 2020, the university allegedly paid women employees less than men who held similar positions.  In addition to paying back wages, the university agreed to work towards making sure compensation practices are free from discrimination.
