Sen. John Fetterman of Pennsylvania, endorsed the explosions of communication devices used by members of terrorist group Hezbollah. The senator shared on social media earlier this week, a screenshot of a Reuters article with the headline, “At least 8 dead and thousands injured, including Hezbollah fighters, after pager blasts in Lebanon.” He captioned the image, “I fully support efforts to target and neutralize any existential threat like Hezbollah.” Pagers exploded in Lebanon on Tuesday, killing at least 12 people and injuring roughly 2,800, according to the country’s public health ministry, and then on Wednesday, walkie-talkies blew up and killed at least 20 while wounding more than 450 people. Sen. Fetterman wrote on X, “For the second day in a row, I absolutely endorse weaponizing Hezbollah’s tools of terror against themselves.”
