A 40-year-old woman has been identified as the victim of a fatal shooting last night in Johnstown. Cambria County District Attorney Greg Neugebauer says Lenamarie Azzoli of D Street, Lower Yoder Township, was the victim in last night’s shooting, which occurred in the West End section of the city. Authorities say Azzoli was killed around 11:30 p.m. when 57-year-old Douglas Yonker shot her multiple times at his K Street home. Yonker is facing charges of homicide, aggravated assault, and numerous other related counts. He is currently being held in the Cambria County Prison without bail.
