Blair County’s Chief Clerk and County Administrator, has resigned. Yesterday, county commissioners confirmed that after being in the position for only six weeks, , Sherry Socie has resigned. Socie was offered the position following the termination of the previous Chief Clerk and County Administrator in July. Reportedly, Socie is leaving for personal reasons. According to the Altoona Mirror, County Commissioners, Dave Kessling and Amy Webster both praised Socie’s work.
