A Winder woman has been arrested after she allegedly pepper sprayed a police officer who was responding to a domestic incident she reported. Police say 27-year-old Kaylee Sherry is facing charges of aggravated assault, making terroristic threats and other related offenses, after she sprayed the officer outside a home located along 17th Street in the Borough of Windber. According to the criminal complaint, last Friday, Sherry called police to report she was heading to the home to stab and pepper spray her family. When police arrived, Sherry pepper sprayed the officer and then attempted to flee the scene. She was apprehended, and is currently in the Somerset County Jail on $50,000 bail.
