A Johnstown area man is behind bars today following an investigation into animal cruelty. Police say 64-year-old William Dunn Sr., is alleged to have left a dog outside with no food, or water in 80-90 degree weather for at least 24 hours, that ultimately led to the dogs death. According to a criminal complaint, Johnstown Police were called to Dunn’s Fronheiser Street home in Hornerstown, in June, after receiving complaints of a dead dog in the yard. When authorities arrived they found the dog tied to a fence with no access to food or water. Dunn is charged with misdemeanor animal cruelty and animal neglect. He is in the Cambria County Prison in lieu of $20,000 bail.
