A New Paris woman was killed early Saturday morning in a one-vehicle crash that occurred in Bedford County. The Bedford County Coroner pronounced 53-year-old Tammy Hiett dead at the scene, after her Chevy Blazer went off the shoulder of the road, hitting a ditch. Reportedly, Hiett was ejected when the vehicle rolled over multiple times. The accident happened early Saturday morning on Shawnee Road in Napier Township. An investigation is underway.
