While investigators are calling the registrations fraudulent, election officials say they were caught, and are not being registered. Reportedly, the party affiliations of the requests are 2 Republicans, 1 Libertarian, 5 Independents, and 13 Democrats. The fraudulent registrations were flagged as they went through the state’s computer system.
