An Altoona man is facing rape charges after he allegedly raped a girl in his car this past February. Arrested was 23-year-old David Brunner who has been charged with rape, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse and other related charges. According to the criminal complaint by Logan Township Police, Brunner was at a gathering at a home located along Juniata Gap Road last February 19th where he met the victim. The victim and a friend reportedly got into an argument and the victim stepped outside where Brunner joined her and asked if she wanted to talk about the argument. The complaint says the two got into his car and drove to a parking lot where the victim claims she was raped. She told authorities he eventually stopped, but Brunner allegedly forced her to have oral sex. Brunner has been placed in the Blair County Prison. Bail has been set at $50,000.
