Initial filings for unemployment are on the rise in Pennsylvania. That’s according to the U.S. Department of Labor, which says that for the week ending October 12th, more than eleven-thousand Pennsylvanian’s filed initial filings for unemployment. That number is up by more than a thousand as compared to the week prior. Nationally, unemployment claims dropped for the week.
