A 43-year-old Bedford County man who was accused of stabbing another man this summer, is now facing charges of stalking a relative. Joseph Batenga Sr., of Breezewood allegedly left an intimidating note on a relative’s porch. In June, Batenga was charged after he cut a man with a knife at a Dollar General Store in Breezewood. In that case, he was charged with attempted homicide. His latest charges include misdemeanors for defiant trespass and stalking. He is currently in the Bedford County Jail.
