A Bedford County man is behind bars today after he threatened to kill and eat two people. Reportedly, the incident occurred last Thursday while the two victims were visiting 41-year-old Luke Bartholow at his home in Everett. State police say during the visit, Bartholow threatened to kill them and himself. He also reportedly swung an axe at one of the victims, missing their head by inches. He is also reported to have sat the two victims down at a kitchen table threatening to kill and eat them. Bartholow has been charged with felonies for aggravated assault and child endangerment. He is in the Bedford County Prison. Bail has been set at $100,000. A preliminary hearing is set for November 11th.
