Johnstown Police Chief Richard Pritchard has resigned from his position, which he has held since 2021. Reportedly, Pritchard’s resignation is effective immediately. In the meantime, Captain Dan Price has been appointed officer in charge. Johnstown’s City Council is expected to review the matter at their next regular monthly meeting on November 13th. No other information regarding Pritchard’s resignation has been released.
