State College Man Arrested for Threatening to Shoot Trump

ding-dong-2

A State College is behind bars after threatening to shoot former President Donald Trump before his rally in State College on Saturday.  Arrested was 74-year-old Paul Gavenonis who faces misdemeanor terroristic threats and disorderly conduct.  Penn State University Police say they received a call from the PSU Transportation Office about Gavenonis while he was trying to buy a parking pass, and while there allegedly began to discuss Trump’s upcoming rally.  He reportedly said he hated Donald Trump and would like to “shoot the guy.”  Police say a staff member was concerned about selling the man a parking pass as it would put him in close proximity to Trump, so police were called in.  Gavenonis is currently in the Centre County Prison.  Bail has been denied.
