Two individuals, including a male who attended the Altoona Area High School, died in a crash that occurred in Bedford County on Sunday night. State police say the single vehicle accident happened on Lincoln Highway in East Providence Township shortly after 10:30 p.m. Police say the driver lost control of a Honda Accord and struck an embankment, spinning several times before coming to a stop. State police say two people in the backseat were ejected and both were pronounced dead at the scene. Reportedly, the driver was also thrown and sustained injuries and was taken to Conemaugh Hospital in Johnstown. The investigation into the crash is continuing.
