A former football player with Saint Francis University has been accused of stealing equipment from the team and then trying to sell it on line. Police say 25-year-old Kyle Hill of Greenville, North Carolina, allegedly stole shoulder pads, helmets and facemask visors from the university’s locker room. Police were alerted to the thefts in August. Local authorities say they were later contacted by the Greenville Police Department in North Carolina, regarding a similar theft in their jurisdiction. Greenville police say that a recent traffic stop had led to the discovery of Saint Francis University football equipment inside the vehicle. Hill was arraigned this week on felony charges of burglary, theft, receiving stolen property and criminal trespass. He is in the Cambria County Prison in lieu of $400,000 bail.
