Two men are behind bars today in Jefferson County after they allegedly set fire to an apartment at a building in Punxsutawney. Arrested were 19-year-old Tyler Neal of Punxsutawney, and 24-year-old Daniel Heitzenrater of Glen Campbell. The two reportedly admitted to setting the fire in an upstairs apartment in a building located along Pine Street. The incident occurred in the early morning hours of September 30th. Both are facing charges of felony counts of arson, reckless endangerment, and conspiracy to commit arson. Both were committed to the Jefferson County Jail, with bail having been set at $50,000 for Heitzenrater, and $100,000 for Neal. Their preliminary hearing is set for November 4th.
