Get Ready for More Deer Activity

deer-at-night

On Sunday, Daylight Saving Time ends, as we turn the clocks back an hour, and with that comes more deer involved accidents.  Deer are most active at dawn and dusk when commuters are on their way to and from work.  The time change may have deer out, when they normally aren’t.  Plus, it’s also mating season.  So be alert.  Finally, insurance companies say it’s never good to hit a deer, but often times hitting the animal is safer than swerving.  Trying to swerve around a deer could cause an even worse crash.  The Pennsylvania Game Commission says drivers will need to be aware of their surroundings for at least another month.
