Pennsylvania has banned fires on state game lands because of dangerously dry conditions. The Pennsylvania Game Commission announced the ban yesterday. State Game Lands regulations prohibit camping, but ordinarily permit small fires for cooking or warming purposes. The prohibition on building fires on game lands will be left in place indefinitely until conditions improve.
