Democrat incumbent State Representative Frank Burns is projected to win the race for State House, defeating his Republican challenger Amy Bradley in the 72nd District in Cambria County. As a result of this, Democrats retained majority control of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives by one vote. The win by Burns was the final House race to be called. In the state Senate, both parties flipped a single seat, leaving the chamber with the same 28-22 Republican majority.
