Hunter Accidently Shot by Fellow Hunter in Huntingdon Co.

A hunter was hospitalized on Saturday morning after being mistaken for game by a fellow hunter in Huntingdon County.  State wildlife officials says they were dispatched to a shooting scene that occurred in Barree Township in Huntingdon County, shortly after 10 a.m on Saturday.  The victim was an archery hunter and while exiting the woods he was accidently shot by a turkey hunter.  The victim was taken to the Mount Nittany Medical Center in State College with non-life threatening injuries.  The names of both men are not being released.  The incident occurred on the Penn State University Gamelands.  An investigation is underway.
