Attorneys for a man charged with killing four Idaho college students say their client’s arrest in Monroe County, Pa., was illegal. Bryan Kohberger is accused of stabbing four individuals to death in November of 2022 near the University of Idaho. He was arrested the following month at his parents’ home in Chestnuthill Township. The defendant’s lawyers say authorities entered the home without a proper warrant and spoke to their client before reading him his Miranda rights. Kohberger is expected to go to trial in the case next summer.
