The Department of Conservation and Natural Resources is lifting its ban on campfires in Pennsylvania. The ban had been put into place earlier this month at all state parks and on forest lands due to dry conditions. Now that the state has gotten some rain and snow, the risk of fires has been lessened so the ban has been lifted. As a reminder, all fires must be in an area which is confined and contained.
