A Johnstown couple were arrested on Monday after allegedly attacking a local cancer patient over the weekend, inside her home. Arrested were 47-year-old Gary Yuhas and 32-year-old Julia Houska. The two allegedly broke into the victim’s home, located along Church Street, and began attacking her. They also stole her cellphone and smashed it. Yuhas allegedly took the victim’s dog from the room to allow Houska to continue the assault. Yuhas and Houska are facing numerous counts including aggravated assault, robbery and theft. The victim was taken to Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center in Johnstown where she was treated for a brain bleed. Both Yuhas and Houska are in the Cambria County Prison on $150,000 bail each. Their preliminary hearing is slated December 4th.
