Crews from Pittsburgh International are helping officials at the Erie airport as they deal with record snowfall. A group of Pittsburgh-area snow fighters headed north on Saturday morning to assist in getting runways cleared. Governor Shapiro also activated the Pennsylvania National Guard to rescue people who were stranded in up to three feet of snow in some areas. A lake-effect snow warning for Erie has been extended to tomorrow evening.
