A 36-year old Johnstown man is facing numerous charges after he allegedly broke into a home and beat up a woman in June and then again this month. Arrested yesterday was Michael Robinson who reportedly entered the Johnstown home located along William Penn Avenue, twice. East Taylor Township Police were first called to the home on June 25th, but police were unable to find him at that time. The second time he allegedly broke into the home was December 1st where he once again beat the woman and this time demanded cash. He then threatened to kill the woman if she left the room. The victim stayed there until a relative found her. The victim was taken to Conemaugh Hospital and treated for her injuries. Robinson is facing numerous felony charges including aggravated assault, burglary and other related counts. He is currently in the Cambria County Prison in lieu of bail.
