Initial Filings For Unemployment Up In PA

Initial filings for unemployment are on the rise across Pennsylvania.  According to the U.S. Department of Labor, more than 19-thousand-600 initial filings for unemployment were filed across Pennsylvania for the week ending December 7th.  That number is more than 46-hundred higher than the number of filings the week prior.  Nationally, the unemployment rate also rose for the week.
