One of the prosecutors who worked on the Kids for Cash case is furious with President Biden for ending Judge Michael Conahan’s sentence early. Tom Marino was one of the U.S. Attorneys who worked on the case early on, he’s now the D.A. in Lycoming County. Yesterday he said the president’s decision to end Conahan’s sentence is insulting, infuriating, and down right criminal itself. Marino said the decision strips what little justice the victims of Conahan’s scheme got from the case. Conahan is one of 15 hundred people who got either pardons or commutations from President Biden because of what he said were over-sentences at their trials.
