A Morrisdale man is in jail after he allegedly attacked two state police officers last week after what authorities described was a drug-fueled fight that occurred while officers were on a domestic violence call. Authorities were called to the home in Graham Township, Clearfield County last Wednesday when 36-year old Keatin Gaines reportedly showed up naked, and allegedly under the influence of drugs. A woman inside the home called 911 after Gaines allegedly told her “it was time to meet the Lord”. Gaines also reportedly locked himself in a bathroom with two children and the woman’s husband. Officers tried to remove Gaines from the home but were unsuccessful, as Gaines punched and kicked the troopers breaking the ribs of one and breaking the hand of the other. Gaines was eventually given a sedative and was taken to Mount Nittany Medical Center for evaluation. He is facing charges of aggravated assault, assault of a law enforcement officer, harassment and numerous other related counts. He has been placed in the Clearfield County Prison. Bail has been denied.
